In the sixth season of this acclaimed BBC comedy series, Gordon Kaye returns as René Artois, the charming, philandering owner of a popular café in German-occupied France, carefully walking a tightrope between the German military he must appease and his cohorts in the French Resistance. To rescue captured British soldiers, René launches a hilarious plan that includes ridiculous disguises, a golden cuckoo and a portrait of a buxom Madonna.
