When her therapist suggests that the cause of her chronic hiccups is a subconscious dissatisfaction with her marriage, Park Avenue housewife Jill Baker (Merle Oberon) takes it as her cue to enter into a romance with a neurotic concert pianist (Burgess Meredith). Directed by the legendary Ernst Lubitsch (Heaven Can Wait), this hilarious farce is based on the play "Let's Get a Divorce" by Victorien Sardou and Emile DeNajac.
