The Trial

Kyle MacLachlan stars as Josef K., a bank clerk who awakens on his 30th birthday to find he's being prosecuted for an unspecified crime, in this production of Franz Kafka's disturbing novel, adapted for the BBC by writer Harold Pinter. The allegorical drama follows one year in Josef's life as he nervously awaits his fate. Directed by David Hugh Jones, the production also features Anthony Hopkins, Jason Robards and Alfred Molina.
