In plain view of the audience, illusionist Montag the Magnificent (Ray Sager) eviscerates a cortege of female volunteers, who walk away unscathed from their gruesome demises as the awestruck crowd erupts into applause. But all is not as it seems: When the hypnosis later wears off, Montag's hapless victims literally come apart in their tracks. Director Herschell Gordon Lewis' gore-a-thon delivers blood by the bucketful in this unique horror film.
