Newly returned from psychiatric leave, police profiler Russell Spivey (Mark Thompson) becomes the target of a serial killer. Haunted by dark childhood memories and battling the bottle, Spivey must keep it together if he wants to catch the criminal. Compounding Spivey's anxieties are the flesh masks that the killer leaves on his victims' faces -- a calling card that reminds Spivey of his own earlier traumas. Teri Polo co-stars.
