Director Si-myung Lee's action thriller with a sci-fi twist takes place in an alternate dimension in which Korea has been subjected to Japanese rule for more than 100 years thanks to a Korean nationalist who assassinated a Japanese statesman in 1909. The killing set events in motion that changed history, with Japan winning World War II. In 2009, a Korean independence movement is heating up -- but will things be different this time?
