Goofy's son Max (voiced by James Marsden) heads to college, eager to experience the freedom of living away from home. But when Goofy (Bill Farmer) loses his job, he gets sent back to school himself, ending up at the same college as Max. Can a father-son bond survive mortifying social embarrassments and a generation gap? Max and Goofy test the waters amid disco sequences and loads of lowbrow, high-spirited slapstick.
