This moving, semiautobiographical drama from Polish filmmaker Malgorzata Szumowska stars Julia Jentsch as Julia, a happily married woman with a thriving photography business, who is suddenly hit with a series of crises. As her dog dies, her mother faces terminal cancer and her husband withdraws emotionally just as her career falls apart, Julia must learn to draw on her inner resources to survive. Peter Gantzler and Maciej Stuhr co-star.
