Held hostage in their home by three violent bank robbers (Sunil Dutt, Danny and Ranjit), editor Ashok Roy (Raj Kumar), his wife, Deepa, (Mala Sinha), his sister, Nisha (Parveen Babi), and his son are at the mercy of savage murderers. If Ashok calls the police, his son's life will be in danger, but doing nothing will jeopardize everyone's safety. Can he rescue his family without involving the authorities, or will tragedy befall them all?
