The Farmer's Wife

Roughhewn farmer Samuel Sweetland (Jameson Thomas) finds a void in his life after the death of his spouse. When his daughter marries, Samuel begins pondering another trip down the aisle and, with help from his secretly smitten housekeeper (Lillian Hall-Davis), he develops a slate of would-be brides. But every contender either falls short or rejects Samuel's proposal. Will he realize the ideal mate is right under his nose?
