In this episodic, World War II film, an American (Kent Smith) travels to London to sell the stately old house that belongs to his family. While he's visiting the home, bombs fall all around as the current resident recounts the dwelling's remarkable history. This inspirational movie produced to raise money for British war relief boasts a cast of more than 80 stars and directors, including René Clair, Ray Milland, Merle Oberon and Ida Lupino.
