Arjun and Karan (Akshay Kumar) are brothers and cops. During an investigation, Arjun is murdered by an underworld don, sending Karan on a hunt to find the sole eyewitness to the murder. Meanwhile, he must also deal with an actor named Deepak (Saif Ali Khan) who seeks to break out of his romantic typecasting; seeing Karan in action against some thugs, Deepak decides he needs to hang out with Karan so he can learn to portray a tough character.
