The Painted Desert

Two rugged cowboys, Cash (William Farnum) and Jeff (J. Farrell MacDonald), fight over who will care for an orphaned baby (William Boyd). Cash eventually wins and raises the boy, named Bill, as his own. But when Bill blossoms into a young man and falls in love with Jeff's daughter, a bitter feud threatens to keep them apart. This classic Western co-stars a young Clark Gable in his first talking picture.
