Alfred Hitchcock: Rich and Strange/The Sorcerer's Apprentice

  (1932)
Years before directing his famed thrillers, Alfred Hitchcock helmed the breezy but bleak romantic drama Rich and Strange. Bored with suburban life, Fred and Emily Hill (Henry Kendall and Joan Barry, respectively) set sail on a global cruise, where each begins an illicit affair with a fellow passenger -- one of whom bilks the couple out of their money. Also includes "The Sorcerer's Apprentice," an episode from "Alfred Hitchcock Presents."
