The relationship of two friends -- Masaru (Ken Kaneko) and Shinji (Masanobu Ando) -- is recounted via flashback, coming full circle from their time as joined-at-the-hip, puerile miscreants to a falling out, and back. While Shinji becomes a promising pugilist, Masaru ends up as a small-time hood. But they discover that their vocations -- along with their impetuous natures -- may prove their undoing.
