Joe (Eric Schaeffer) has been pining after a gorgeous neighbor (Elle Macpherson) for years. Meanwhile, his best friend and roommate, Lucy (Sarah Jessica Parker), gets involved with a quirky artist (Ben Stiller). The two friends decide that if they're still single by age 30, they'll have to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge -- a dicey agreement that adds even more stress to their mercurial relationships.
