This satirical account of England in the 1800s details one of the most famous errors in military history, when the poor judgment calls and rash planning of inept British commanders nearly annihilated an entire brigade in its cavalry attack against Russia during the Crimean War. John Gielgud stars as Lord Raglan, along with Vanessa Redgrave as Clarissa Morris, in an engrossing story highlighting the division between Victorian social classes.
