Village of the Giants

A larger-than-life plot propels this 1960s camp classic that aims to please. After eight teenage hooligans (including Beau Bridges) eat a chemical compound that transforms them into 30-foot giants, they take over a small town and terrorize the adults into submission. Now, it's up to the 11-year-old genius (a young Ron Howard) who invented the stuff to discover an antidote that can restore the rabble-rousers to their normal size.
