In the 1950s, rock 'n' roll was considered the devil's music. In this film, three teens -- Tony (Max Perlich), Susan (Renee Zellweger) and Cookie (Patricia Childress) -- defy popular belief when they start a dance show (hosted by Howie Mandel) and showcase an African-American girl group called the Sirens. Trouble brews when conservative parents (Nora Dunn, Mary Woronov) try to stop the show -- and instead end up inciting a rock 'n' roll riot!
