Ryan Dunne (Freddie Prinze Jr.) is a blue-collar boy who dreams of becoming a Major League baseball player. Dreams aside, he makes it to "second base" when rich girl Tenley Parrish (Jessica Biel), who's visiting Cape Cod for the summer, falls hard for him. What's more, there's friction galore between Prinze's townie friends and members of his baseball team -- talented college kids who descend on the Cape each summer.
