John Wayne stars as John Clay, a young lawyer whose mother and father were killed when they refused to turn their land over to a corrupt cattle baron. Vowing to avenge his parents' death, Clay finds no recourse in the courtroom and decides to inflict vigilante justice on the murderers to reclaim the family estate. Muriel Evans costars as Belle, the beguiling love interest in this tale of justice, adventure and revenge.
