Six lives intertwine in Jacques Rivette's romantic comedy. Actress Camille (Jeanne Balibar) arrives in Paris to put on a play with her lover, actor-director Ugo (Sergio Castellitto), but the production takes a detour as Camille meets her ex-boyfriend and Ugo hunts for a lost script. A pretty student, a petty thief, a few secret rendezvous and a jealousy-fueled duel all factor in to Rivette's theatrical comedy.
