Still waters run deep -- and so do silent ones, as this French thriller proves. Underappreciated secretary Carla (Emmanuelle Devos), who's deaf, is tired of being treated like a serf at work. Her solution? Enlist the aid of good-looking thief Paul (Vincent Cassel). He may be clueless, but he's her ticket to justice and revenge. As they plot out their scheme, each learns more from the other than they ever expected.
