Bo Derek stars as Helen, a once-famous model who agrees to a kidnapping scam that'll reward her with enough money to make a new life for herself. But the plan backfires, and her husband is murdered. When a terrified Helen turns to FBI investigator Brian Dillon (Jack Scalia) for protection from her husband's killers, the two begin a dangerous and torrid love affair that evolves into a maze of greed and lust, leading to the fateful truth.
