Spencer's Mountain

Family patriarch Clay Spencer (Henry Fonda) works hard and drinks even harder. While he toils to feed his large frontier brood, his wife, Olivia (Maureen O'Hara), tends to their home. Things hum along for the Spencers until their college-bound son, Clayboy (James MacArthur), falls in love with the daughter of Clay's boss. Suddenly, Clay's job -- and, along with it, the family's day-to-day survival -- is threatened.
