Sons of the Pioneers

Mild-mannered entomologist Roy Rogers gets a chance to follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps when sheriff Gabby Whittaker (George "Gabby" Hayes) calls on him to take down a band of marauders who are torching barns and killing cattle. Rogers rides into town, where he foils the bad guys and strikes up a romance with local girl Louise Harper (Maris Wrixon). Musical cowboy group the Sons of the Pioneers performs several popular tunes.
