New York artist Natalie Haddad's (Kyra Sedgwick) dark photographs hint at the disturbing childhood memories she's tried to suppress. A contract job set up by her agent (Stockard Channing) leads to an unexpected reunion with her estranged gay brother, Roy (Kiefer Sutherland), in Boston. Troubling secrets from the past and the present come to light when manipulative Roy pressures Natalie into staying in town for his birthday party.
