On the hottest day of the year, five vignettes -- which address fear, relationships, careers, dreams and more -- unfold in each of New York City's boroughs and reveal the struggles and joys of urban life. Among the stories are a butcher in Queens who dreams of the 'burbs and a fashion designer facing eviction in Manhattan. Rosario Dawson, Jennifer Esposito, David Vadim, Valeria Golino and Shashi Kapoor star.
