Over time, Aadhi (Simbhu) and Meera (Trisha) fall deeply in love. On a visit to a friend's village, the two well-meaning lovers help their buddy stand up against his father and wed his sweetheart instead of the girl his father had preselected for him. But their act of friendship has some serious consequences attached and comes back to haunt them.
