You knew they couldn't stay apart forever! Mary Tyler Moore and Valerie Harper reprise their roles (from "The Mary Tyler Moore Show") as Mary Richards and Rhoda Morgenstern in this 2000 TV show. After her husband dies in a rock-climbing accident, Mary moves to New York. Rhoda, following her divorce, also relocates to her Gotham hometown. What's different? Both women have daughters enrolled at New York University and Columbia University. Oy vey!
