Author Margery Allingham's enigmatic English gentleman-detective, Albert Campion (Peter Davison), courts danger once again in this episode from the BBC's acclaimed mystery series. This time, Campion comes to the aid of an American judge whose life is being threatened, hiding him away in a remote village. But when the judge disappears, Campion finds himself embroiled in a dark mystery rife with kidnapping and other unscrupulous deeds.
