Room Service / At the Circus

  (1938)
In Room Service, down-and-out producers (Groucho, Chico and Harpo Marx) try to keep their play afloat and not get evicted from their shared hotel room. Based on a hit Broadway farce, this is the only Marx Brother movie that wasn't written originally for them. In At the Circus, it's mayhem under the big top as Groucho, Harpo and Chico try to save a traveling circus troupe from bankruptcy. A highlight: Groucho sings "Lydia the Tatooed Lady."
