Out of the Wilderness

  (2001)
Young Melissa saves a wild baby raven named Black Feather in Alaska, but almost loses her life in the process. As Melissa recovers, Black Feather tests the sanity of Melissa's family and the town as he goes around collecting shiny things. One day, the bird is caught and let loose in the big city, where he's immediately deemed a public nuisance. Now, it's up to an animal rights activist (David Carradine) to get the bird back.
