In this modern-day adaptation of the Brothers' Grimm fairytale from New Zealander Garth Maxwell, Jack (Alexis Arquette) and Dora (Sarah Smuts-Kennedy) are siblings separated at birth. While Dora lives a fairly comfortable life with middle-class parents, Jack lives with an abusive, tyrannical family. When Dora's psychic powers alert her that her brother's in trouble, she sets off on a journey to reunite her broken family.
