In this exquisite Russian adaptation of the Beauty and the Beast tale, a merchant with three daughters sets off on a trip overseas and promises to return bearing gifts for all. The youngest and most beautiful, Alyoria, hopes that he'll return with a scarlet flower she's dreamed about that can only be found in the land of a fearsome beast. When the merchant is captured by the beast, Alyoria must rush to her father's rescue and tame the creature.
