When gun-runner Kane (Burt Reynolds) loses his arms shipment and winds up stranded in a Middle Eastern port city, he tries unsuccessfully to scam his way out of town. Forced to take a job crewing aboard a marine biologist's boat, Kane soon discovers that the scientist's "research" actually involves recovering sunken gold -- in shark-infested waters. Soon, it's every man for himself in this chilling adventure from writer-director Samuel Fuller.
