Jerry Lewis plays seven different roles in this slapstick comedy that centers on 9-year-old Donna Peyton, who stands to inherit $30 million. But there's a catch: Donna must choose one of her late father's six nearest male relations as her new dad. Lewis portrays Donna's chauffer, the man she loves most and would prefer as her father; he also plays all six paternal candidates, including a gangster and a sea captain.
