Shakespeare Tragedies: Macbeth

Nicol Williamson and Jane Lapotaire star in Shakespeare's tragedy about Scottish general Macbeth, who's told by witches that he will become king. Upon hearing the prophecy, Macbeth's power-hungry wife convinces her husband to kill the king. He carries out the bloody deed and becomes the new ruler but must protect himself from conspirators. Macbeth and his wife are haunted by their foul deeds, and the witches return with a worrisome portent.
