Director Yasuhiro Imagawa infuses this series -- an extended remake of the 1960s live-action film Johnny Sokko and his Giant Robot -- with wit and glamour while recounting the battle between two opposing forces: the noble Experts of Justice and their enemies, the menacing force called Big Fire that's plotting to lead the world straight into complete obliteration. But energized by new member Daisaku Kusama, the Experts commit to a fight.
