Cheung Wu Yen (Sammi Cheng) can battle with the best of warriors, men or women, but she's saddled with a birthmark on her face that makes her feel self-conscious. Never mind that the prophets say she is, in fact, a goddess who brings luck and protection to her husband, the emperor -- who's smitten with another woman, Xia (Cecilia Cheung). Can Wu Yen cope with her spouse's wandering ways even as he implores her for help with his kingdom?
