A journalist puts her life in danger to investigate a potential FBI cover-up in this taut thriller. Set in 1978 Puerto Rico, the film centers on reporter Kate Melendez (Amy Irving), who sets out to uncover the truth behind the murders of two students who wanted their country to secede from the United States. The government claims the men were terrorists, but Melendez isn't buying it. Andy Garcia, Lou Diamond Phillips and Robert Duvall also star.
