Buck McGriff (Willem Dafoe) and Albany Perkins (Gregory Hines) have jobs that are among the toughest in the military: As plainclothes cops in Saigon, they're supposed to police other soldiers and help keep the peace in a violent city. So, when prostitutes start turning up dead, they're called upon to investigate. Unfortunately, their lives are on the line as they become increasingly aware that the perpetrator may be an American army officer.
