When wife and mother Ann Jennings (Joanna Cassidy) is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, her family must cope with the gradual decline of their loved one, as well as the demands of round-the-clock care. Ann's husband, Charles, a successful businessman, struggles with depression as his once-secure existence spins out of control. But as he's forced to examine his relationships, it becomes clear that life holds greater meaning than money or power.
