After a very beautiful and extrememly valuable -- but cursed -- Indian gemstone is stolen from underneath the pillow of young heiress Ann Verinder (Phyllis Barry), Scotland Yard's Sgt. Cuff (Charles Irwin) attempts to unravel the complicated mystery and determine who is guilty. Murder, suspense and intrigue dominate the game in this classic whodunit, which is based on Wilkie Collins's landmark detective novel.
