Looking to cash in on a Brazilian gold rush, ne'er-do-well George Kuffs (Christian Slater) heads to San Francisco to hit up brother Brad (Bruce Boxleitner) for a loan. Instead, George gets a job offer -- to join Brad's police department civilian adjunct. But after Brad meets the business end of a bullet, George takes over the enterprise and stumbles upon the $50 million scheme that got his sibling killed. Milla Jovovich and Tony Goldwyn costar.
