When Chicago nightclub singer and murder witness Eleanor Spencer (Irene Manning) flees to the West, Sheriff Gene Autry must protect her from a mob henchman trying to kill her. But Autry may be outgunned when gangster Mike Scarlotti (John Bradford) blows into town. Smiley Burnette, Roy Rogers, the Sons of the Pioneers, Cornelius Keefe and Lon Chaney Jr. also star in this B Western directed by Joseph Kane.
