Sacred Ground

When mountain man Matt Colter (Tim McIntire) and his pregnant Native American bride Little Doe (Serene Hedin) unwittingly settle on holy Paiute burial ground, the Paiutes attack and mortally wound Little Doe just as she gives birth. Enraged, Colter kidnaps a Paiute woman to nurse his infant son, but soon Paiute warriors return to claim the woman and the child, whom they believe is sacred by virtue of his unique birthplace.
