Dissatisfied New Jersey housewife Julie Johnson (Lili Taylor) wrangles free from her controlling husband and begins a brand-new life in this tale of self-discovery. Along with friend Claire (Courtney Love), Julie enrolls in a computer class and discovers she's a math whiz. Newly empowered, Julie leaves her husband and moves in with Claire ... and the two realize their feelings for each other go beyond friendship.
