After his wife leaves him for his boss, mild-mannered London bank clerk Raymond (Hugh Laurie) throws caution to the wind -- big time. Raymond, who's also a part-time dance instructor, steals from the bank and jumps on a flight to Rio with one thing on his mind. He wants to find the famous samba dancer Orlinda (Vanessa Nunes), and sparks fly when he finds her, but bad luck returns when she runs off with the stolen cash.
