Follow the Fleet

  (1936)
Director Mark Sandrich makes all the right moves in this crowd-pleaser showcasing the terpsichorean talents of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Astaire plays Bake Baker, an able-bodied seaman on liberty in San Francisco who rekindles his romance with Sherry Martin (Rogers) while his shipmate (Randolph Scott) takes up with Sherry's sister (Harriet Hilliard). Irving Berlin's memorable score includes the classic "Let's Face the Music and Dance."
